Necessity being the mother of invention certainly applies to Fitsyou. Our youngest son loves Skivvydoodles and they provide the best fit for his bigger-than-average frame. The store where we purchased them went out of business. When we found an online retailer that carried his size, they never seemed to have them in the patterns he liked best -- the disappointment was hard to live with. In our search to find a store that catered to larger sized kids, we found there weren't any -- being told "we don't carry them because no one buys them." Our thoughts on this were that no one could buy them because no one was making them available! Thus Fitsyou came to be; for Alex and all of the other boys and girls who know what they like and just couldn't find it.

As parents who saw our three children grow up far too quickly, we learned the lesson that there are so many wonderful things, no matter how small, that add to the richness of a child's life. Even if that is finding them the perfect comfy pajamas with the patterns they want -- in their size. We know the frustration of navigating the sea of mediocre childrens' clothing with television and other commercialized product tie-ins. Finding classic, quality clothing shouldn't be so hard. We hope making this website available will help make lots of children, and parents, happy.
